The Orpheo Tour Guide (OTG) is an easy-to-use portable wireless device, each device can be set to Transmitter Mode or Receiver Mode, ideal for group guided tours. It transmits sound between a transmitter and one or more receivers. It has an operating range of 100 meters in an open field with an unlimited number of users.
Up to 50 channels can be used simultaneously for multiple groups consisting of one guide (tour leader) and many visitors. This system can also be used for multilingual applications or for simultaneous translation.
It can be used in museums, galleries, historic monuments, factories and other industrial sites, zoos, attraction parks, city tours, gardens, conferences… In fact, wherever guided tours are organised (indoors or outdoors).

Lightweight, easy to carry, and extended battery life (50 hours) makes the OTG perfectly adapted for both indoor and outdoor tours.
Designed and made in France, this device is currently in use at prestigious cultural sites, such as the Orsay Museum in Paris, Canton Museum of Art in China, the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York, USA.
Two Audio Outputs
Thanks to its 2 audio jacks, the Orpheo TG allows two people to use the same receiver at the same time. This can be invaluable at special events with extra visitors, for example.
It also allows family members, a companion or a visually impaired visitor to share a device.
Charging Racks
The autonomy is 50 hours when operating in receiver mode and 20 hours in transmitter mode. The OTG charging racks come with 24 slots enabling battery recharge as well as modification of the settings on the players.
