Automatic Triggering

We offer several technological solutions to enable automatic triggering of content and synchronisation with our audioguides: Infrared, Radio Frequency and RFID.

Infrared (IR) and Radiofrequency (RF)

Beacons

Our triggering systems are designed to meet the specific requirements of your project, ensuring a seamless audio experience for visitors at museums and tourist sites. Our IR/RF beacons enable automatic triggering of content on handheld devices and can even activate an alarm.

The beacons operate by transmitting a unique code to the device, automatically triggering content when visitors enter predefined areas.

● Easy to install
● Hard-shell casing
● Wired beacons
● Power supply or
● Battery with regulator

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)  Beacons

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons are perfectly suitable for all those installations where battery operating life is a main concern. They are ideal for indoor navigation/positioning systems.

● Indoor geolocation
● Affordable & energy efficient
● Wireless installation
● No internet connection needed
● 2 standard AA alkaline batteries

BLE beacons enable on-site interaction with a visitor via their mobile device without the need for Wifi or GPS.
The beacon sends a code to the tour devices (Orpheo Touch or Orpheo Hybe) or to the visitors' smartphone to trigger the corresponding point of interest (POI).

Video Synchronisation Beacons

The Orpheo synchronisation system is used when you want to synchronise the soundtrack of video or multimedia content with the sound on a hand-held player in the appropriate language.

A driver and 2 satellites (IR or RF) send signals to trigger commentary on the audioguides. The synchronisation system is based on transmission of time in the format of hours, minutes, seconds and frames.

This combination also provides the opportunity to synchronise the audio commentary with different peripherals such as video, sound, lights, etc. The system needs power supply.
